No, the Conference is open to the evaluation community in general. However, those who are or become an IDEAS member will benefit from lower registration fees (it is never too late to join IDEAS).
No. To benefit from preferential rates for your registration to our 2025 Conference, you must be or become an IDEAS member. (it is never too late to join IDEAS).
Yes, panels and roundtables can include up to five participants. However, if there are more than four panelists, the lead panel organizer should ensure effective time management.
Availability of scholarships cannot be confirmed at this time. The organizing committee is making efforts to get funding to this purpose. Please continue checking this page for updates.
This information will be available once we are able to confirm availability of scholarships. We can advance however, that priority will be given to participants from the South and youth evaluators.
At this point there is no funding for virtual participation.
We might be able to arrange virtual participation for no more than 2 presenters from a panel. However, if this become possible, presenters will need to register to the conference.
We are working to obtain the necessary funds for interpretation of plenary sessions to French and to Spanish.
The call for proposals was launched on September 14, 2024.
The deadline for submitting proposals has been extended for November 17, 2024.
The selected proposals will be communicated on December 16, 2024.
The final versions of the selected proposals must be sent to us no later than January 10, 2025.
Proposals are to be submitted online (Forms for roundtables, panels, posters and for professional development workshops) and accessible from the "Themes" page. Please make sure to complete all the fields required in the forms.
Yes, it is possible. To do this, we invite you to fill out one form per proposal.
The 2025 Conference jointly organised by IDEAS and the Independent Evaluation Office of the NDB is scheduled to take place in Rome (Italy). It will be hosted at the FAO Headquarters, from March 4 to 6, 2025.
The FAO Headquarters is located in the city centre of Rome, near the Circo Massimo and close to the Colosseum: FAO, Viale delle Terme di Caracalla, 00153 Roma RM, Italy.
It can be reached by car, bus (No. 60, 75, 81, 118, 160, 271, 628), tram and metro line B (metro stop: Circo Massimo).
